The bathroom in this one bedroom apartment underwent some minor repairs to fix a small drip that was causing some minor issues in the apartment below. However, the patchwork ending up failing and the small drip snowballed into a major leak. The unit owner took the opportunity to renovated the dated bathroom as well as the adjacent laundry closet. The bathroom was fully gutted and the plaster walls were chiseled to expose the existing plumbing and electric wire mold. After replacing all the existing plumbings lines, the bathroom and laundry room floors and walls were fully waterproofed to retain all possible overflowing water. Due to the unit owner's minor handicap, the tub was replaced with a shower and the bathroom was finished off with full height tiles and high end plumbing fixtures. As an added bonus, the apartment received a fresh paint job to bring new life to the space.
